The London Borough of Lambeth is on the south bank of the River Thames, between The London Borough of Southwark and The London Borough of Wandsworth and is part of Inner London.. Lambeth is a very diverse borough. It has some sought-after areas in the south, such as Gipsy Hill and West Norwood, whilst areas around Streatham have a high population of asylum seekers living in cramped .

The London Borough of Lambeth stretches in a long thin line from the Thames to the Surrey hills. The boundaries of the manor and the parish of Lambeth are largely the same as the present borough but with the addition of the old parishes of Streatham and Clapham.
